BYD Denza launched its Z9S electric sedan in September 2026 with a CLTC range of up to 1,100 km for the base variant. The vehicle starts at 255,800 yuan ($37,910), representing a 64,000 yuan discount from its pre-sales price of 319,800 yuan. This model features BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery, supporting rapid charging from 10% to 97% in 9 minutes and maintaining performance in extreme cold (-30°C). Denza sold 16,001 vehicles in August 2026, a 16.64% drop from July 2026 sales but up 33.42% year-on-year. Cumulative sales for the first eight months of 2026 reached 101,738 vehicles, a 1.41% year-on-year decline.
