Creality's K2 SE 3D printer went on sale on Amazon for $248.99, down from a $299 list price — a cut of $50.01, or about 17%. The listing, noted on July 19, 2026, was described as time-limited, and at that price the machine sits roughly $30 above the Ender 3 V3 SE's $219 MSRP.
What the extra buys is speed and color. The K2 SE prints at 500 mm/s, double the Ender 3 V3 SE's 250 mm/s, and works with Creality's CFS system for multi-color and multi-material jobs. It has a 220 x 215 x 245 mm build volume, a metal frame despite its open design, a modular quick-swap nozzle, a vibration sensor with input shaping, power-loss recovery, a lighting kit and remote control, with a setup Creality advertises at about five minutes.
Cheap, fast, multicolor printing is how home fabrication spreads. When a capable machine drops under $250, making a replacement part or a small object at home becomes a routine option rather than a hobbyist's splurge — the kind of price move that nudges everyday goods toward being produced closer to where they're used.
Temper the enthusiasm. This is a sale price, not a permanent one, and Tom's Hardware says it has not reviewed the K2 SE itself, though it rated the related K2 Plus and K2 Pro Combo well. The clog-free nozzle claim is the manufacturer's, and the outlet notes it may earn an affiliate commission on links.
