Nadara completed a 227 MW agrivoltaic project in Sicily, covering municipalities of Catania, Lentini, and Motta Sant'Anastasia. The facility spans approximately 400 hectares across 15 plots, with 50% dedicated to agricultural activities. It includes a 20 MW/40 MWh battery storage system and has secured a 156 MW power purchase agreement with Amazon. Environmental compliance was certified by regional authorities in September 2025, following approvals in May 2023 and October 2023.

The project delivers multiple local benefits: 38,000 trees were planted, 2.5 km of public waterways are maintained, and beehives produce about 4.5 metric tons of honey annually. Municipalities receive at least €17.25 million over the project lifetime for services and energy-efficiency measures.
