VicOne's free robotics security tool tests systems before deployment

VicOne released a free cybersecurity extension for NVIDIA Isaac Sim that enables pre-deployment vulnerability testing of robotics systems, using research from DEF CON 34.

VicOne released a free Radeis Extension for NVIDIA Isaac Sim on August 10, 2026. This tool enables developers to validate vision-language models against adversarial visual prompts and sensor manipulation before deploying robotics systems. The extension is built on research from DEF CON 34’s Robotic Hacking Community, where 16 teams recorded 25 successful solves in VicOne’s Physical AI Safety Stress Test CTF. VicOne states it has uncovered more than 180 zero-days across automotive and robotics systems and processes over 100 million threat intelligence signals monthly. The extension is available as a free download for supported NVIDIA Isaac Sim versions.

The Radeis Extension’s value lies in its ability to identify behavior-changing risks across robot system layers during development—specifically testing how adversarial inputs might alter system behavior. This pre-deployment validation addresses critical security gaps before systems interact with the real world.

For security needs, this tool reduces the risk of cyberattacks on robotics infrastructure by catching vulnerabilities early. As robotic systems become more integrated into daily life, such testing helps ensure physical safety without requiring costly post-deployment fixes.
